WECP Careers

Welcome to Washington Emergency Care Physicians (WECP). WECP is an independent, democratic emergency medicine group that was newly formed in January 2019. The company has partnered with MultiCare Health Systems (MHS) to exclusively staff the following Spokane Area Emergency Departments: Deaconess Hospital & Deaconess North Emergency Center (start date of 6/1/19), Valley Hospital (start date of 7/1/19).

WECP is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tacoma Emergency Care Physicians (TECP). Also an independent, democratic emergency group, TECP for over 4 decades (since 1972) has been a longstanding partner with MHS to provide emergency services at 3 emergency departments in the South Puget Sound area.

TECP and WECP together will now treat over 210,000 patients every year, which represents more than 50% of emergency services within the health system. In support of TECP, WECP, and other potential future ED groups, provide practice management services such as practice consulting, data analytics/informatics, scheduling, billing, payroll, provider recruiting – all of which are necessary services to be successfully viable in a rapidly changing, more fiscally conscious health care market.
